Emily feels increasingly disconnected from Shane, while Tamra and Vicki undergo body scans that have very different effects. Vicki worries about her health, while Tamra learns that her spine is particularly young and healthy for a woman her age.
Heather and Terry reflect on their childhoods, while Heather works on her relationship with her mother. Emily's in-laws host a Persian celebration, and tensions rise when Heather has an issue with Vicki. Vicki feels betrayed by Tamra over something she believes Tamra has said about her, while Tamra is upset by what Vicki says in return. Vicki denies the accusation, but the two eventually put the disagreement aside and hug it out.
Carmella takes Jenn under her wing, and the two bond over their struggles in their relationships. Emily and Shane, meanwhile, have another argument as Emily continues to feel disconnected from her husband. The women also begin planning a trip to Tokyo.
Then Tamra hosts a Vena party, bringing together current and former Orange County Housewives. Alexis and Heather remain at odds, and Ryan's appearance raises eyebrows. Alexis becomes upset and eventually has words with Heather, though exactly where the two women stand afterward remains complicated.

But friendship drama takes over when Vicki feels betrayed by Tamra and Tamra is upset by what Vicki said about her. Vicki denies it, but the two eventually hug it out. Carmella also mentors Jenn through their shared relationship struggles, while Emily and Shane continue to struggle to connect.
Then Tamra throws a Vena party with some familiar OC faces in attendance. Alexis and Heather are still at odds, Ryan looks rough, and Alexis eventually confronts Heather—though exactly what they resolve is another question.
