S3E84 Leaving La Quinta | RHOC Episide 11 Recap

The Real Housewives of Orange County’s split trips come to a dramatic end when Emily and Jenn decide they’ve had enough of La Quinta and pack their bags in the middle of the night. Despite Vicki initially asking them to leave, she is furious when they actually follow through—and the women leave with a $450 Uber ride back to Orange County and no goodbye.

Meanwhile, the women in Los Olivos start questioning Vicki’s relationship with Mike, with Carmella openly wondering whether an engagement ring even exists. Tamra is concerned by how much Vicki seems to be walking on eggshells around Mike, while Vicki grows increasingly frustrated with the women discussing her relationship.

Back home, the women compare notes about their very different trips. Carmella is particularly upset to learn that Vicki has been talking about her relationship with Danny and questioning whether she should stay with him. Carmella admits that Danny’s past infidelity still affects their relationship, and the two agree to try couples therapy before deciding whether they have a future together.

Gina and Travis have a much happier relationship milestone when Travis surprises her with the real engagement ring, while Heather gives her mother a look at her new penthouse. Meanwhile, Shane and Emily continue to clash at home.

But the biggest surprise comes from Vicki. Tamra checks in on her after the La Quinta disaster, and Vicki finally opens up about what has been driving her behavior. Beneath all the anger and defensiveness is a fear of ending up alone. Vicki admits that, despite how good her life may look on paper, she misses having a full house and worries that another relationship could end in failure.

Tamra gives Vicki the pep talk she desperately needs as the season's increasingly complicated relationships reach a much more vulnerable place.
