S3E83 She's Not My Jam | RHONY Episode 2 Recap
The Real Housewives of New York City continue settling into their new era, and Carole Radziwill is getting reacquainted with the city—and the women—after eight years away.
Carole meets Erika for coffee and we learn more about Erika’s unconventional life, including her background in WWE. Meanwhile, Erin and Abe discover that their Hamptons home has suffered extensive damage from a burst pipe, leaving Erin dealing with the loss of family memories along with the physical destruction. Sai meets with her divorce lawyer to discuss the realities of separating from David, while Daisy and her husband struggle to find common ground between their busy schedules and family life.
Daisy then brings the women together for a brunch for Sai, but the gathering quickly becomes complicated. Jessel and Erin are still awkward around each other following the Lunar New Year party, while Hailey confronts Erin over gossip involving her and her girlfriend. Erin apologizes, and she and Jessel eventually reach a tentative truce after revisiting the breakdown of their friendship.
But the brunch takes an uncomfortable turn when the women begin discussing *Love Story*, Carolyn Bessette, and Carole’s personal connection to the Kennedy family. Jessel's questions about Carolyn and the Kennedy family hit a nerve with Carole, who becomes increasingly uncomfortable before ultimately leaving the brunch.
There’s still plenty of Housewives business before the day is over, including Daisy’s story about her son’s tutor having a crush on her and a burlesque performance. And despite Erin and Jessel seemingly finding some common ground, Erin wastes little time getting back to gossiping about Jessel—with Erika watching it all unfold.
